For this web design classed I learned a lot about creating website. For me everything was new and interesting. A thing I like is the infinitely group I join and me looking at Digg. This was good to me because I just read about what other coaches deal with around the world. Also I just like reading some of their quotes they post that are motivating and meaningful. This class make me look at the website different now, especially basketball website on how they built and what look right and what is not right. This class can be frustrating because all the coding information and if you mess up on one thing then you can mess up your whole page or you don’t save it right can really frustrate you. With my affinity groups and Digg, me and our coaching staff always talking about how different programs get away with different things based on variety of things. Digg is helpful for big school trying to hide something and if I can’t find it on google and want to read up on it, I just use Digg to find more information.

For the first couple weeks of class it was like I was trying to learn a new language. I like the way Mr.Mcgarvey started from the beginning and went through everything fairly at a good peace. A thing that had me frustrated and still trying to figure it out is having to save things using all these different websites and Dreamweaver. A thing I think is cool is that if you use a .html tag it become a website that you can preview. I think the .html was good learning but also made me frustrating because you can have all your coding right but you missed one capital letter or didn’t save it where all website can preview drives me crazy. An assignment I worked really hard on was I want to say chapter 6.8 the index exercise because I couldn’t get the letters to highlight. It took me almost 15 just to get the letters to highlight and go the alphabet I wanted it to. When I finally figured it out I just keep on playing with it and it just felt good to been able to fix the problem by myself.

Twitter Post

Using Twitter, I think is beneficial in more ways than it causes harm. I think with this particular social media I learn a lot with what’s going on around the world by people retweeting things and favoring things. I think this social media do have a role in our school setting. The reason why I say that is because our generations is attach to social media. I feel like schools don't use social media to their advantages. If school somehow will use social media to implement in the class not only do, I think student will listen more I also think student will trust they teacher more. In my personal profession which is coaching we use twitter all the time for new update with player, updates with other teams, tournament and to see how the kid act on social media.
