Journal #1: Chapter 1- Chapter 3
Robbins, J. N. (2012). Learning web design: A beginner's guide to HTML, CSS, Javascript, and web graphics. Sebastopol, CA: O'Reilly.
Summary: Reading Chapter 1-3 gave me a great overview on how web design came about. These chapters broke everything down to you from what a web design do to the concepts of web development. A thing that helped me better understand what a web design is about was the description and pictures. The author explained every section very clear and gave you details on each role and what it’s responsible for. The reason I found these chapters helpful because the author explained everything very well to let you know what you will be up against. This way you can pick your strengths and interest. The positions I think I will exceed at are the Web Developers and User research and testing reports.

I think for me it will take me to long to review every single

I am glad to see that you can successfully integrate your profession with that of your future skills with web design. I can relate to your overall journey here, since you and I are both not going toward teaching specifically. Good luck in your goals with web design!
ReplyDeleteHi, Barry! I really like your ideas about utilizing the web to enrich children's talents. I also like seeing other ways people that are not in the education field plan to use this program. It sounds like a great idea and I wish you the best of luck!
